Antietam Battlefield
Antietam Battlefield in Sharpsburg, Maryland is one of America’s most iconic battlefields. Here, Union and Confederate troops clashed in what became one of the bloodiest single days in American history; 23,000 men either died or were wounded on that fateful day alone. Many buildings still stand on this field today and some may even be haunted by unsettled ghosts.

Mallows Bay boasts one of the largest concentrations of historic shipwrecks in the Western Hemisphere and serves as a fantastic location for boating and fishing activities. Furthermore, its surrounding sandy bluffs serve as splendid roosts for bald eagles who frequent it.
