Macken has reported sightings of ghostly spirits such as a Revolutionary War soldier and a young boy wearing blue clothes in this supposedly haunted house, once home of New Jersey’s royal governor. Macken claims these ghostly visits include soldiers from both World Wars.

The 13th Hour Haunted House, in Wharton, is one of New Jersey’s top haunted attractions and widely considered one of the best haunted houses. Boasting two floors filled with chilling terror, it opens from mid-September through November’s first weekend. It is not suitable for children aged under 8.
