Haunted trails are attractions that allow guests to navigate their way through various rooms or scenes – such as hillbilly huts, cornfield mazes or themed zones.
Moderate scares in a safe environment can release endorphins and improve mood, as well as sharpen problem-solving skills. Haunted trails provide another opportunity to practice these valuable life lessons.
1. The Haunted Cars Trail
Haunted houses and corn mazes are two fantastic Halloween activities, but haunted trails can be just as frightening. Typically found in outdoor settings like farms or parks, haunted trails feature creepy props accompanied by actors dressed up as Halloween characters – adding another level of fear factor!
The haunted car trail can be found at an old amusement park graveyard, filled with rusty roller coaster cars, race cars and ferris wheel gondolas. It is believed that Chester, who murdered one of her victims after sexually molesting her, roams this haunting trail, lending their supernatural talents on visitors who venture onto it.
To create a haunted trail, take into account the age group of your target visitors and select an appealing theme. Young children might prefer something with fairytale or witch themes while teenagers and adults might appreciate horror movie-inspired themes like an insane asylum, graveyard or mad scientist lab. Also ensure that it is safe by eliminating hazards or placing warning signs that could hurt or trip visitors along its route.
2. Reaper’s Revenge
