Kings Park Psychiatric Facility (known to locals as KPPC) on Long Island has long been considered haunted. Boasting over 111 years of history and housing the remains of patients from its past patients’ spirits residing therein, its spirit haunts are said to linger within this renowned facility.
Over time, numerous visitors to Building 93 have reported feeling dizzy, distressed and abandoned; hearing chains rattling; as well as encounters with ghosts or apparitions at this location.
Although most of the property is now privately owned, some portions are still operated by New York State and patrolled by police officers who often arrest trespassers who come onto KPPC grounds – an occurrence which has increased security as well as reports of MS-13 gang members using them for training exercises.

Revenue generated through paranormal investigations helps pay for operations at the museum – so visitors are welcome to tour during the day; overnight stays aren’t recommended.
Rolling Hills Asylum

An estimated 1700 bodies may have been buried there and various forms of paranormal activity such as disembodied voices, mysterious screams, door slamming noises and footsteps have been reported from within its walls.

Numerous eerie spirits have been seen roaming around on its grounds; among them Roy Crouse who died in 1942 and may still roam as a seven-foot shadow calling out for assistance.
Seward House
William Henry Seward served as President Lincoln’s Secretary of State during the American Civil War, and his home has allegedly become haunted with ghostly spirits. Today it serves as a museum; costumed guides offer candlelit tours around its historic grounds and darkened streets of Auburn city center with tales about Victorian funeral practices, Seward family lore encounters, true crime tales and other terrifying accounts – adding new terrifying-yet-true stories every year to keep things exciting!
This former church and funeral home has been featured on “Ghost Hunters” and other paranormal shows. Visitors have reported sightings such as a woman walking up the driveway, Black’s ghost eerily creeping along walls, disembodied voices and even seeing him creep along corridors! Additionally, ghost hunts and haunted events take place there regularly.
