Reportedly home to an unseen female spirit that has been seen both by employees and visitors, as well as doors opening and closing on their own and footsteps that cannot be explained, the abandoned building reportedly harbors one such mysterious female figure who has also been reported by both workers and guests as seen throughout its abandoned space.
3. Emily Morgan Hotel
The Emily Morgan Hotel has long been associated with supernatural forces. Guests have reported hearing footsteps and voices, while employees have witnessed shadowy apparitions lingering nearby.
This haunted hotel boasts an extensive history and is considered one of the most haunted hotels in Texas. Renowned for its gothic revival architecture, this establishment has witnessed various paranormal activities.
Teddy Roosevelt can often be found pouring himself a drink from the bar room. Additionally, there’s also the ghost of a maid who was murdered by her husband in one of the rooms in the hotel.
4. The Driskell Hotel
Although LBJ and Claudia Taylor first met at this luxurious hotel, its history goes much deeper. A number of its previous owners met untimely deaths there, with sightings reported of dead bodies at various points throughout time.
