Slippery Noodle Inn
More haunted houses than ever are opening across the nation. Utilizing everything from Hollywood-style props and animatronics, to Disney-like attractions reminiscent of an amusement park attraction, Halloween has quickly become the preferred holiday for haunted house owners.
Slippery Noodle Inn, a staple for many in the Wholesale District, recently changed hands. Jason Amonett and Seth Lothridge now own it; their plans include keeping its history alive while paying tribute to original owners Hal and Carol Yeagy.
The Inn is said to be haunted by thirteen ghosts who once frequented its establishment; these ghosts include former customers as well as ghosts who died here due to an explosion. Prostitute, caretaker and cowboy ghosts have been reported. Additionally, underground tunnels used by escapee slaves along the Underground Railroad provide another layer of haunting.
Indianapolis Athletic Club
No matter your beliefs or skepticism, it is undeniable that strange things happen at night. Some stories may stem from extreme tragedy while others might just be idle gossip.
Residents at the Indianapolis Athletic Club have reported hearing banging noises at night and believe a deceased fireman haunts it; other have felt someone trying to push them off the dog walk.

Another legend says that if you pass by the bridge at night, you may hear the wails of a mother who lost her child while crossing. If your car honks at it, the ghost may try to enter as well.
