Situated temporarily on West 43rd Street’s Horrorwood Studios, this heart-pounding attraction was designed by co-artistic directors Will Munro and Katie McGeoch of Six Flags Fright Fest fame – two names you should surely recognize from years spent overseeing Six Flags Fright Fest alone!

TerrorVision brings to light the shallowness of American culture during the ’80s in all its brilliance. The Headless Horseman is a legendary figure from American folklore, most widely associated with Washington Irving’s “Legend of Sleepy Hollow.” According to this legend, an Hessian soldier killed by cannonball during the Revolutionary War is haunted by his headless horse and continues to roam Sleepy Hollow today.

Visitors to this attraction will experience the ultimate scare at this attraction, which was formerly an asylum that closed its doors in 1952. This haunted house features an elaborate maze of horror-inducing rooms that will leave visitors screaming with terror! One of New York City’s top haunted houses, it also offers live entertainment and features a bar; for maximum effect it is recommended that visitors wear masks in order not to be recognized by ghostly presences!

Blood Manor

Blood Manor, located within the Morris-Jumel Mansion in Manhattan, is one of the oldest haunted houses. Once home to colonel Roger Morris during American Revolutionary War and later Stephen Jumel of Democratic Party politics. Additionally, during Civil War Mathew Brady (famous photographer) took several images of President Abraham Lincoln at this mansion which are used on penny and five dollar bills today.
