Their spirits are believed to remain present on the property today – guests have reported hearing footsteps, seeing ghostly soldiers roaming about, experiencing unexplained electrical disturbances such as lights turning on or off by themselves and items moving or being pulled away from them, among other experiences.
San Francisco
San Francisco and the Bay Area are home to an abundance of haunted structures and locations, most notably being the Golden Gate Bridge itself. A construction worker named Larry was tragically killed while working on it back in 1930, and many have reported spotting his ghost at or around its structure since.

San Antonio
San Antonio is no doubt one of America’s most haunted places, thanks to a bloody battle at the Alamo and stories of untimely deaths. Kell’s Irish Restaurant and Pub in Portland is another haunted location; its basement allegedly leads directly into Shanghai Tunnels, while there have also been reports that an unknown owner committed suicide at this haunted location. Furthermore, pots, pans, and other kitchen utensils seem to move by themselves at University of Portland – perhaps as evidenced by students witnessing pots moving on their own!
